Default 2-56 screws 1 inch or longer. Can't find.

I checked the hardware store and hobby shop. Neither one carries the 2-56 screw that is longer than 3/4 inch. I need them to attach my Sullivan control horns to my ailerons. They are pretty thick near the hinge.

I could use 2-56 threaded rod but I'd prefer to just get the right length screw.

So my question is: where do I get 2-56 scews longer than 3/4 inch?

Thanks,
Joe

Try Micro fasteners, McMaster Carr, or MSC industrial supply. Only problem is, that you'll be buying a box, and shipping will be about 4x the cost of the box of screws..

Thanks Doc. I ordered a box of (100) 2-56 x 1 inch 18-8 Stainless for 3.50 + 3.50 shipping from McMaster Carr. I can use them.

Micro fastener was $ 6.50 + 5.00 shipping for a box of (50). McMaster Carr is a deal.

If you want socket head screws try RTL.

(12) pieces for 2.35 plus shipping. Expensive but they DO have them.

Thanks,
Joe

For all of your ODD ball RC needs have a look at;

Harry Higley may not stock everything but you WILL be impressed.

I really like his stuff but it's too bad he doesn't have an online catalogue.
