Spinner Reaming Question
I asked this in the Engine forum, but was hoping to get a quicker answer so I can send the part out today if I have to..
Ok, I've got a 2.5" Tru Turn spinner that I am going to use. It was on my Saito 100, but is going on my new Saito 120. The backplate needs to be opened up to 10mm to be used on the 120. My question is, can't I just open the hole up with my prop reamer (since it is just aluminum) instead of sending it in to tru-turn for $12 to be machined? Or am I taking too much of a chance..

RE: Spinner Reaming Question
Tru turn spinner, about $30.
Saito 120, about $300?
Really, why mess around with all your nice, expensive hardware, send it back to tru turn and let them do it right.
