There are a couple of pictures of homemade transmitter trays. Is this what you are looking for?

RE: I want to build some support for radio
Hi Sergio,
The transmitter tray pictured in the post I mentioned above is what I've been using now for a few years.
I think it has improved my flying, especially landings. I feel like I have much more fine control than with thumbs only.
Is there much RC flying in Temuco? It must be winter there now. How cold does it get?

patternwannabee,
in your direction i see what i need, next week i build one.
one time i try to fly with transmitter trays, but in a few seconds i get out and continue flying without it. some friends agree with you , said it`s better to fines moving, well i want to try again....
we are about 15 rc flying in Temuco, 4 always fly (1 i am), yes now is winter, about 1 1/2 month it`s rainy and windy days, in thees days we have about -3 to 8º C. ( Fº ??), we have to wait about 1 month to take a good day with 20º C. but we go to the farm where we fly and a lot of times we wait in the cars to stop the rain an then very fast we pick up our planes and be happy...

RE: I want to build some support for radio
Sergio,
Just so you know.... The first time I flew with the transmitter tray, I felt like I had to move the sticks a lot to get the same response (even though everything was the same).
Also.. be careful when starting your engine so that the neck strap or antenna does not get in the way of the propeller. With new equipment, it always takes a little getting used to. I usually hold the tray by the aluminum handles until I put the neck strap on.
One more thing. Here is a picture of my transmitter tray with a rain hood attached. It is made out of plexiglass. I tried this in light rain and it works well. I think it might work well for flying in cold windy weather to keep your hands warm too.
Good luck with your tray.

Sergio -
If you want to make your own, go to http://www.rcfu.com and look up transmitter tray. You will find drawings there of how to make one.
I made one from these drawings years ago and it works fine for me.
