Default engine size need help

i still cant decide on an engine for my edge. here are the specs
Recommended Engine: .90-1.20 2C/1.20-1.60 4C
Wing Span: 73" inches
Lenght: 67" inches
Radio: 4 channel, 6 servo (3 hi-torque, 3 standard)
Flying Weight: 9 to 10 lbs. Wing Area: 800 sq. in.
i preferrably want a glow engine to save weight but if a gas engine will work for 3D then ill get a gas engine. the guy at the hobby shop said a 1.60 FX will work for it. since it can handle the weight of a 160 4C then i think a 160 2C will work too. i think a 4 stroke would be too heavy like a gas engine but again i'm no expert so i need help. I want to spend around 200 for the engine (used) without a muffler, and get a smoke muffler. tower hobbies carries smoke mufflers for the 160 but not for any big 4 strokes.
thanks

The OS 1.60 FX is an awsome engine. The plane will be SLIGHTLY overpowered with the 1.60, but not enough to worry about.

You should be able to find 1.60 FX used for under $200. New they run about $260. They are a ringed engine, so they will take a little longer to break in and, IMHO, you should use a fuel with 18% or better oil.

Push the money a little bit and look for a YS 120 for about $250. Then use a APC 17x6. Dennis
