Aluminum Castings
I have a need to make up several aluminum castings via the investment method. I have most of the equipment, original parts, molds, and invest for doing vacuum castings. However, I need information on materials and a few proceedures like proper temperatures and mixing. I have already done a few castings with the equipment, but it has been sort of hit or miss to this point. I either get a good a casting or rotten one no matter if the part is 1.5" large or 0.5" large.
Anyone happen to know of a few simple books, magazine articles or web articles on how to do such?
