Default Why is there all that blood on your RC equipment?

After taking a look at my transmitter case and some of my props, I thought this was an interesting question to ask others.

I'm looking for interesting / funny stories about getting clobbered at the field. My club seems to have an affinity for it.

I fail to see what could possibly be funny about bloody props...

Just do not sneeze when you are pulling the glow plug clip.[X(][X(] I did that and the clip disapeared in the prop. No one got hurt so I can now laugh about it. I did a dead stick landing and my brother bet me I could not land close to where we were standing. I showed him as we both jump the plane as it rolls under our feet.

I must have jinxed myself when I started this thread cuz last night I took piece of wood prop in the nose while back flipping my Moki 180 with a chicken stick. Guess I'll keep wearing my glasses.

If you don't have blood on your props, you don't have near the mosquitos we have in Michigan. The leading edge of the wing gets covered too. yech.

I flew with my father in his Great Lakes to the Sussex Airshow at the end of August. I spent 20 minutes cleaning various flotsam from the plane while he was preflighting. By the time we landed and shut down at the airshow venue, the prop looked like we had run through a cow on takeoff[X(] from all the bloody mosquitos! Like it shoulda been a cuisinart, not a hartzell.
