My wife gave me $1500 to START converting my two car garage into a new workshop. My mother-in-law said she'll pay for new lighting. [8D]

Tower gift certificate, enough for receivers and 1/4 scale servos for two planes. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Can't wait to crash a 747.
I bought a US-41 from a guy at the field to put in my Bird Dog when I build it (gonna order it this week), and when I picked it up, he gave me a 1/4 scale something-or-other high wing plane--NO SH** !!-- and said to break in the engine on this plane while I was building the L-19. Has the servos, all I need is Rx, battery, and gas tank. It looks like a great big Superstar, taildragger, has a 7-1/2 foot wingspan; he said it used to be longer, but he shortened it so he could get it in his station wagon.
Also got some cash--what else do you do with green dead presidents but spend it on airplane stuff. Got enough to finish one plane and do about 75% of another one, all I'll need is the engine ( it's gonna be another Grasshopper, this time in 1/4 scale, BUSA). I must be living right, or Santa got bullsh**ed into putting me on the nice list. Guess I'll do a building thread on one or both.

I'll admit I got it myself but I got a new 7c radio. I'll use some of my christmas cash to buy more servos and some servo leads and NiMH batteries for it.

I only got 2 belts, 2 shirts, and some DVD's.........no R/C stuff.
Wife says she "tolerates" the hobby but won't support. (Good thing I ordered myself a Trition on Xmas Eve!)

My wife gave me a Funtanna 40. I also received enough cash from inlaws and my mother along with a gift certificate to the LHS to stuff a Saito FA82 into the cowl.

Tolerate the hobby? Hehe...ask her how she'd tolerate you going to the local strip joints! Buddy of mine plays alot of golf and enjoys the hell out of his Harley. His wife *****ed. He then visited the local "skin" lounge. She don't complain anymore about his golf or motorcycle.
