A two winged home for my Saito 30
Hi, a couple years back I bought a Saito 30 and then promply got out of the hobby. Now I am back flying and have this jewel with no home. I was wondering if anybody could recomend a aerobatic bipe like the ultimate or pitts that would fly nicely with this engine?
Thank's, Tom aka Lomchevak

Don't know about a pitts or ultimate but I had a Waco by Sportsman Aviation that I purchased from Hobby People That flew o.k. I extended the firewall out about a half an inch because I had standard servos in it. If I would have put micros in it it would have flown great. Just my thoughts.

Ultimate
How about the ACE Ultimate. It would go great with your engine. I have flown a few and although they are squirelly on the ground, once they get airborne they are a fun little plane to fly. The ones I flew had a 25 s cycle and a 20 2 cycle. Believe your 30 4c would be berfect. Good luck

biplane for Saito .30
Gordon Whitehead published a Bucker Jungmeister drawing in RCM some years ago, flew it with .20/.25 glow. This 4S would be a fine powerplant for this model. Whitehead never designed a bad airplane, either. High confidence in the quality of the model. Call RCM for the plan, it's less than ten bucks.

Doesn't WM make a .30-sized Ultimate?

Went and checked - they do. http://www.airborne-models.com/html/ulti30.html
Looks like they recommend a .40 4C engine, though.
