I just used the 016J7 code (3:45 PM 6/26) and got $20 off. The 016D7 code I got 6/6 in an email did not work and the Tower site said it had expired. I delayed my order and then happened on the RCU thread and tried reaordering just now and got the $20.

I simply changed my e-mail address, and they sent me $20 off $50. Worked like a champ.

Problem now is that I don't know what I want to buy, and it's only good for 14 days. I'm thinking maybe an Ultrafly BAE Hawk, however, I already have an EDF Hawk. hhhmmm....I need a watt meter. Life is so full of difficult decisions.

I think the $20 off $50 offer has expired - at least mine did. I went to place my order yesterday and they said my offer expired on 7/1. I should have placed it over the weekend! If anyone comes across a new $20 off $50 let us know...

Going back a while I used a code off here, not one that was emailed directly to me, and I received a messgae that I was not authorized to use that code.

Now I've ordered big, or what I thought was big, this last twelve months, US$4400+ and thought I would be able to use any code currently being offered, but apparently this is not so.

There are a number that go out to everybody, and then some codes that go out only to some it seems.

Depending on the promo code, it will ONLY work for the acct it was sent too via email address. This is what I was talking about some 6 pages ago when I commented on this "sharing" is going to be taken to an all new level.

This is not impossible, but rather a major inconvenience. If you were to create a tower acct with a generic email address, you "could" pass the promo code received at the email address, and provide your TH acct info to log in, once received, change the acct info to yourself, and it will work. I've done this.

After a person had succeeded in using a promo code on their order, they could\would have to email the original provider of the promo code to inform them of the changed acct info.

Again, a whole new level to sharing to get our deals. It can be done, just depends on how bad\much you want to have it\share it...... Greg []

Or just create a new e-mail address (easy to do, and free), and then change your e-mail on you tower account. You don't have to create a new account, only change the e-mail. They send a $20 off 40 to the new e-mail.
