T-Pin Containers
As I was removing several t-pins from my latest project and putting them back into their heavy duty, small plastic bag, I wondered if there is a better way to store and dispense t-pins. I'm not looking for a PEZ type of dispenser (although that would be cool) [8D], but I'm curious how everyone else stores and dispenses these pins. I typically just pour an amount onto the building table, use what is needed, then replace those I didn't use back into the bag.
Anyone have a better way of dealing with 100 to 200 t-pins?

RE: T-Pin Containers
I stick them into a foam block on the build table.
-Easier to grab them and later return them.
-No chance of getting stung on the sharp end
-Won't 'dissapear' and end up on the floor
-A T-pin is always ready when you need it, no need to find that bag and open it. Just reach out and grab one.

I have mine in a small plastic box that I had laying around from something. It has a top, so I just set it on the building board with the top off and work out of it. I am planning to get an Altoids tin and use it to hold them when I get more. The tin has a connected lid and you get great smelling breath at the same time

I keep mine in a plastic bin from one of those 60-bin plastic parts organizers. When you use them, you can keep it out on the table, and when you're not, they go right back in the organizer.

I like the ideas of using the foam block or a piece of ceiling tile. The magnet could probably work too. I keep mine in a jar, and I'm always jabbing my fingers when reaching in for one.[:@] I've had enough of that C#@&!

I keep mine in a Tupperware or similar container with a magnet stuck to the bottom to hold the pins in place to avoid a mess in the all to familiar knock over.

I use a paper clip holder with a magnet around an opening in the top. T pins stick up out of it, and as you pull one up, others follow and stick at the top. It works great for those times when you only need two or three at a time, but for a wing or something, I dump a bunch on the bench.
I like the foam block idea.

I use a small margerine tub. The lid prevents spilling when not in use and serves as a tray when I need them. Just flip the closed tub over and remove the tub from the lid full of pins.

The container that keeps the pins vertical is my favorite.
The intense pain when a pointy end goes underneath the fingernail when reaching for a pin reminds me to stop doing it this way.
