The Flaming Geyser Flyers Near Auburn (about 20 minutes south of Renton) are a great bunch of folks. They have a grass field that is provided by Flaming Geyser State Park and maintained by the "Friends of the Flaming Geyser Fliers". They welcome visitors.
Contact me for more info, or Ultimate Hobbies in Auburn can give you directions

The "RAMS" club is also in Auburn (alongside highway 167 south of the city), but is more difficult to "intro" with as you must contact a member to fly as a visitor. I'm sure the gang at Ultimate hobbies could "hook you up" with contact person.

Hope this helps!

another club is the Lake Sawyer Hawks that fly at a former dump site at Hobart. The field is presently restricted to electric however it will open to glo engines in the near future.
