RE: H9 Aresti CG?
Hi Matt14x,
From my H9 Aresti manual:
"The recommended CG for the Aresti 40 is 3 1/2" to 3 3/4" behind the leading edge of the wing measured at the fuselage".
The Aresti 40 does have a 56" wingspan.
Just in case, here are the recommended throws:
Aileron
Low Rate
3/8" Up, 1/4" Down
High Rate
5/8" Up, 3/8" Down
Elevator
Low Rate
3/8" Up, 3/8" Down
High Rate
5/8" Up, 5/8" Down
Rudder
Low Rate
1 1/4" Right, 1 1/4" Left
High Rate
2 1/4" Right, 2 1/4" Left
Hope you enjoy your Aresti as much as I enjoyed mine. It's a really fun plane. Good luck.

Hey Bruno
What are you using for power?and Can you give your weight. The reason I ask is this bird is a little different in it's own way
Thank you much. Matt

RE: H9 Aresti CG?
I had an OS 70 four stroke in mine. I'm afraid I don't know what it weighed. But it weighed enough to put a nice hole in the ground when I dumb thumbed in last summer.[&o] But the few months I had it, I sure had a blast with it.
I built mine pretty much stock, with the exception of the firewall, that I had to drill new engine mounting holes in. The old ones with the provided engine mount were too narrow for my OS engine.
The only thing I can remember to watch out for is the horizontal stab. I've seen some complain that it's weak and prone to breaking. Mine held up fine, even with the heavy OS four banger, and some more than pattern type maneuvers. But just be careful when you cut the covering off it for installation in the fuse, and take it easy flying it at first. You should be fine.
Try doing a search in the Pattern and ARF forums. You should find some helpful info there.
