Hi all. I am still working on my Spring Air system for my P-47 and I was wondering how the air is released from the retract cylinders in order for the gear to drop.The control valve seems to be a straight on off valve with no way for the air pressure to be released from the cylinders.Could anyone enlighten me on how the air is released from the retracts.

The valve redirects the air out a small hole on the valve.

About the only complaint I have against Spring Air retracts deals with a storage problem.....you can store them retracted!
