Default I want a Stagger Bee!

I'm not having any luck finding a kit. Is it only available as a plan? If so, does anyone know where can I find one?

Thanks.

Global Hobby distributes Clancy Aviation models. They still show it as available, although their retail arm, Hobby People, dos not list it. Contact Global. http://www.globalhobby.com/ .

Have you built it yet? Have decided on what to use for power? I started mine, I have a Typhoon Micro 15 and a 9x6 prop mounted. Just curious on your thought for a power system.

I haven't built it yet, but anything .25 size and under generally gets the appropriate Norvel around here. I'll likelt use a .074 or .15. The plane's a slow flier, and I will likely go with more diameter and less pitch, but that Typhoon must be one strong SOB to turn a 9X6, as I have a Norvel .25 w/Mousse can that used a 9x6 APC for a Shrike .10. Cox used a 8x4 on the TD/Medallion .15s.

Yeah....it is suposed to be a killer motor. 9x6 is what is standard for that motor. I like the looks of it. My problem is that all of the info that I am getting from the place that I purchased it from is it will run on three cell lithiums, it will fly a 3.85 lb max model...does not say what the maximum milliamps I can use. Here is another site I found... http://www.icare-rc.com/plettenberg_typhoon.htm that helps a little more, just need to know how large I can go with the miliamps. Attached are photos so far....

BTW, since you have a thing for Clancy kits, you might be interested to know I'm currently building a Clancy Stitt's Sky Baby. I'm going to use a Magnum .30 4-stroke...
