Default Midstar .40/engine recommendations

I have a Midstar .40 that was given to me, 3/4 finished...

Now, I have to decide on an engine - my choices (without running out and buying one) are:

Supertigre .34 with tuned pipe
OS .70 four stroke
Supertigre .51

Any help here? Is the .70 WAY too big? The ST .34 too under-powered?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Roger!

I would go with the OS 70 in a heartbeat! They would make an ideal combo.

Default Too cool!!

I was hoping I would get an agreement - it was my first choice, and just so happens I have one sitting, NIB, that needs a home!

Now, how about a .70 for a Something Extra??

Thanks!

Hmm, can't help you there, I've never flown a SE and the only ones I've seen have 2-strokes on them. BTW, the Extra is coming along nicely

Too cool! I am glad it's getting some use - I traded my 33% kit for a Ohio Chipmunk kit - more to my liking.

Haven't even started on the GP Extra yet - did you ever find the plans??
