Default Foam padding for high temp's

I'm using some of that 1/4 inch white foam padding between my Cline regulator and the engine. It's the 1/4 inch thick stuff you buy at the hobby shop. The engine is mounted sideways and the foam sits on top of the base of the cylinder opposite the exhaust port. Will this foam stand up to the engine heat (Moki 2.10 in cowl)? Is there anything better that will not break down or melt if this foam padding will not work? Also will the tie wraps hold up to the heat. They wrap around the base of the cylinder.

Thanks,
Joe

Thanks, would this provide vibration dampening as well for the fuel regulator?
