Reversing Y-Cable
Hey guys,
Is there anyway to make a standard Y-Cable reverse, like by switching the wires? 1 Servo should be normal and the other reverse (for elevator dual servos)
Thanks...

RE: Reversing Y-Cable
to my knowledge, no.....it is not as easy as switching polarity....
but something to think about....
is different brand servos spin different directions...
ie: use a Futaba and a hitec servo and you don't need a "Y"

RE: Reversing Y-Cable
A couple years back I got a "Miracle Y" servo reversing adapter.. by Maxx Products, 815 Oakwood Rd. Unit D. Lake Zenith, IL, 60047.
It works quite well
It's a 3169FJYR for futaba..3369ARYR for Airtronics, and 3469JRYR for Hitec/JR
Cirrus servos also rotate opposite to Futaba, connected directly.

RE: Reversing Y-Cable
To switch a standard servo, you have to reverse the wires on the motor and the potentiometer (pot). That cannot be done by simply switching the three wire supply extension. I don't know how the miracle Y cable works. I believe there is an FAQ on Hitec's website on how to change rotation in the servo.
