Default Looking for feedback on Radar Gun

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is using the following Radar Gun to check the speed of their airplanes in flight and if so how well it works.

BUSHNELL VELOCITY SPEED RADAR GUN 10-1911

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bought myself one for Christmas last year. It's a very cool toy...the kids love it too. We checked the speed on several 1/8 scale WWI planes at a combat contest in April. It was easy to get a reading as the model approached (average 40" wingspan). You get an accurate reading only if the model is coming straight at you. We'll be using it this weekend at a 1/12 scale combat contest in London. The ideal setup would have the shooter in a bunker in the middle of the field so the high speed runs are directly in line with the gun and away from the flight line. A speed gun at the flying field is an excellent myth buster!!
