O Ring failure; Smoke muffler
The o-ring in my Slimline smoke muffler (on a Saito 91) fails after about 3 or 4 flights.
This is the high temperature 1/2 inside diameter ring that is supposed to seal the muffler to the adapter which mounts onto the engine.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, found a solution?

That's strange i have had to replace the bearings twice on my Saito 91 and the slimline muffler adapter orange o-ring is still holding up fine. Make sure it is the orange color o-ring it should be good to 650 degrees. the black o-rings will not hold up at all just a thought hope it helps.

I don't recall the color of the original o ring. The second, which just failed, was orange-ish in color, and was a replacment straigt from Slimline.
