What is the best sealing iron??
Is there a sealing iron that holds a good constant temperature for applying ultracote? I have one by Hangar 9 that cost about $15 but the temperature varys as much as 100 degrees! This makes it very difficult to do a good job. Does anyone know of a high quality iron that holds that constant temperature?
Thanks,
Allen

I have been very happy with this one:

I bought mine at the hobby shop. Tower Hobbies is an online source.

Coverite, both regular and trim irons. Had mine for some years now.
Never failed me. Cost a bit more but you arent always replacing it. The heat dial is the most accurate in the hobby but I still use a dial thermometer. Always checks out.

Thanks Carrell,
This appears to be a much better iron than the one I have. I will get it ordered tonight!
Thanks,
Allen
