Epoxy and CA
Does anyone know how long epoxy or CA will last? The reason I am asking is that I have had some for over a year and a half....maybe closer to two that I have had and am getting ready to put together another project but wasn't sure if I should get some new bottles.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Epoxy and CA
actually, epoxy lasts forever, if in doubt, mix up a little and test it. If it is crystallizing, cook the tube in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds. CA shelf life is variable, take a scrap of balsa and test it, the thin stuff should kick fast, if it cures slowly or not at all, it's time to replace it.

RE: Epoxy and CA
I store CA in the Frig. A year or a year and a half no problem. It may take me 7 or 8 years to use up Epoxy. At some point, its just to hard to get it out of the bottles, then toss it.

I've had epoxy that has remained useable for nearly 20 years but about the best I can get out of CA is one year. In fact I have some Hobby Poxy thixotrophic epoxy about 30 years old and still useable, at least it was last week.
