About 5' to 5 1/2" from the leading edge at the fuse. All you can get from the rudder low rate Ailerons 1/2"up and down low rate Elevator 3/4 up and down. I use 30% Expo on all surfaces on low rates. For 3D I set up all the Surfaces with as much throw as I can get and about 70% expo. I would start about 5" and move back gradually I have not gone past 5.5 yet but it I probably will for flatter spins. You might want to add some struts to the rudder and elevator for added rigidity.
