I have a backplate for a large spinner, but I don't know what size. I'll look though. Would you care to give any detail on this cone that you need a backplate for?

i guess more info would help
i dont know much about it . it came on a plane i bought used. it is aluminum, but the only markings in can find are on the inside of the cone. it looks like a red color that has the letters QO but i cant see the rest. i need another back plate, because the one i have has a crack in it. i starts by the center and goes toward the edge, and stops about one half inch from the edge. can i drill holes thru the crack, and eliminate it. like making holes to lighten the backplate. or was that a really stupid idea.
