Default front wheel control

Would a cable be stiff enough to work a front wheel?I might have to find an alternate way for front wheel control and was wondering on the cable,I have a fairly thick one on hand and not using it as a throttle cable.

I've used cable steering many times and it works well. Properly supported, it's plenty stiff enough for good steering control, and it's easy to route around the fuel tank and engine, and through bulkheads.

Ditto, as long as it's a fairly stiff cable (Which most pushrod cables are) you shouldn't have any problem
