Retract Gear - electric
I bought a set of Aeromarine electric driven retractable landing gear for my 1/5 scale AT-6, about 20 years ago. I had to put the project on hold due to job demands. Now that I am retired I got the project back on the bench. I have a striped gear in the left retract unit. The company is now out of business. If anyone out there know of someone who has a gear motor for one of these systems and could sell it to me have them contact me through this site. I hope I was not the only one to by the retract system.
By the way, I am making the original Ziroi kit into an SNJ-2 version.
Thanks,

RE: Retract Gear - electric
Thanks for the feed back, I have done an extensive search for a gear, 30 teeth with a 10 tooth gear attached. .125 dia hub. I have tried a gearmotor but it did not have suffecent torque. I have desided to bit the bullet and buy a Robart retract system for my AT-6.
