Hi guys,
Have a Futaba 4YBF transmitter as part of a Nexstar RTF kit.Need to change it to Mode 1 to be compatible with instructors radio.
Can this one be changed from the supplied Mode 2.If so how to do it, any help would be appreciated.

t a dummy box for 50 bucks, it's basically a dummy radio used as a trainer box

I know this is a month old, but maybe you still need to know. I guess the question is, is your radio computerized? My guess is that it isn't. All that means is that you'll have to plug your servos into the reciever as though the TX is mode 2. Basically you'd need to plug throttle into elevator on the RX and elevator into throttle on the RX. The real trick is getting inside the TX and moving the ratchet deal over to the other stick. I did it in my Futaba 6 EXA radio. It was actually pretty easy. If you're worried about dealing with the insides of your TX, then either do as redfox suggests, or send your TX to Futaba, and have them switch the sticks.
