saito 45 4 stroke
Hey guys, I am flying a LT-40 with a laOS 40 on it, I wanted to put a saito 45 -4 stroke. question is: will it be strong enough for the LT-40 just want to buzz around (not flying very long)? also, if i keep the OS la 40 on the LT-40, I am considering getting the Slowpoke sport 40 and then putting the saito 45 4 stroke on it?
Well you folks are the experts??????

I think the saito 45 would fly the LT40 OK for training type flight. The 45 should have enough power to do some egg loops, stall turns and rolls. If you were wanting to do areobatics or fly with floats I would step up to a Saito 56 or 72.
Just my .02

The .45 Saito will fly the plane. I have one
on a Kadet Senior. But.. I have to FLY it, I have
to make a good long roll out before takeoff, and
climb out more to scale. It makes for a pretty
flight.
If you just want to hot dog, use more power. If
you want to fly like the real ones, you dont need
so much power. What really sold me on the Kadet
Senior in the first place was watching a man fly
one with a .28 two stroke. The box says that
the power requirement for this plane was from a
.28 to a .40 anyway.
I have another Kadet Senior with an OS .91 four
stroke on it, but I use this one for hauling
loads. I tend to over power most of my planes.
have fun, Roy

Saito 45----
I had a Saito 45 i n my Sr. Kadet as advertised it is very scale and made you fly it. (easy on fuel) Don't use it or the La 40 on the Slopoke 40. It will be a dog. I had a Mag.52FS on mine using a 11x4 prop, all throws at max on high rates. Lots of fun, the Slopoke likes a little power but does fly very slow when desired. Good third plane set up that way.
