Default Best place to find pilot figures

Building a plane and would like to find a Chubaka {Star Wars Wookie} for a pilot figure. It would look cool. Where's the best place to find pilot figures for kit planes?

They do not carry Chewie, but Aircraft International carries really light pilots. They do have Jessica from Rodger Rabbit.

A toy store may have a doll that you can cut down to fit. I once bought a key chain from a Warner Brothers store online with a 3 inch Tazmainian Devil and stuck it in my Hangar 9 Twist. I figured what better pilot to have for a Twist than Taz.

Try Wall Mart and the .99 cent store. I'm still looking for a Bumble Bee head fror my pollen plane (long story...Kadet Senior used to pollinate crops).

If you want to pay full price and get a hand painted scale figure, expect to pay 30-50$

As stated above try the craft and toy section of Wallmart or any toy / dime store type. Most craft shops have some neat figures in the doll section, one that comes to mind is " Michaels ", I've picked up a couple there, the "OLD DRUNK " is my favorite.
When looking for something you may have to think hard about how you can modify it to fit what you are doing. ENJOY !!! RED

Craft store...out here JoAnn's, Michaels and even Walmart. They sell several sizes of foam balls and shapes. You could make them from that. Cut the sides so the balls would look more like a head, lite filler and water based paint. Scale pilots cost a bunch. I was lucky and got some WW II pilots (Hanger 9) on ebay for about a buck each plus shipping. Retail price on them was 17.95 but nobody wanted them.
