Old Plane Safe to Fly?
About how old can a plane be before it is not safe to fly anymore? After a number of years I it seems that the glue joints get brittle. I have an old gentle lady that is about 8 years old that has been in storage. I took it out and when I flexed the wing, a few joints busted. I have since re-glued all of these joints, and it now holds up when flexed. Do you think it will hold up to a flight or is it time to retire?

Still flying a Hustler delta I built back in the 60s, still going strong. Just give anything of importance a good reaf like the firewall, hinges, stab, rudder joints, etc. then let her rip.
