Default cockpit window....

What do you use for the black tubing I see around the cockpit and windows.....

what simple material works?

You can use any proper size neoprene tubing and split it. Tower has two sizes of this material but it may take a larger size for a cockpit fairing than for a windshield.

Formost makes the stuff. They make different types. Some for glass border and some for cockpit coming

[8D]Check out the link provided by W8ye for cockpit COAMING.
I use it all of the time (the COAMING, that is), for my models.
To my knowledge, it only comes in color black, which is fine,
unless you are an interior decorator.

I use thin heat shrink tubing from an electrical supply store. It worked perfectly on my 1/4 scale Cub windshield.
