RE: WHAT DO YOU DO TO NEW MONOKOTED WINGS TO MOUNT BALSA STRUTS???
How are you mounting the struts? Do they screw to hard points within the wing, or are there brackets that screw to hard points, etc? Either way, you gotta put a hole in the covering over the hard point, which should be right against the cover at that spot. Make sure the covering is stuck to the hardpoint, and use a small drill bit to make a pilot hole for the screw. If you have a blind nut in the wing, just use the tip of a #11 blade to nick a place above it to insert the screw through. The tiny hole won't "run" if there's something under it for the struts to attach to.

RE: WHAT DO YOU DO TO NEW MONOKOTED WINGS TO MOUNT BALSA STRUTS???
THE STRUTS ARE 1/8 X 3/16 N SHAPE. THEY GO INTO PRE MADE SLOTS NEXT TO THE RIBS . UNFORTUNATLY THE STRUT SLOTS ARE NOT LEVEL WITH THE TOP OF THE RIB. VERY SLIGHT DIFFERENCE. I AM AFRAID TO MESS UP MY ALMOST PERFECT MONOKOTE JOB. I GUESS I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE HOLES IN THE MONOKOTE GETTING BIGGER AND THE COVERING WRINKLING ON THAT AREA. THANKS DJCIII

While you're in the fixing mode, you might also have a look at the caps lock button on your computer. I think it's stuck .
