Default Stencils

Does anybody have some ideas on how to make stencils so I can paint on some "N" numbers on my fuse, I don't want to use "decals" as I want the numbers the same color as the trim paint.
Thanks for any help you may provide.

You could try printing them out onto some card stock (something heavy) and then cutting them out and using the cutout as your template. Other than that, go to Hobby lobby or such--they have all kinds of stencils.

You can use your printer. Just determine the font and size you want and print them out on regular paper. Then remove the numbers with your knife. Or you can go to a craft store and buy some stencils. The problem there is you are limited to font and size.

You can go to any shop that can cut vinyl and have them cut a stencil from light card stock for you. This was is there is no limit to the fonts that are available. Or you could have them cut the number in vinyl and then you can do away with the paint. Either way will give you great results

Go to a store that cuts vinyl lettering. Ask them to cut paint masks. It is the same as cutting lettering except that the letters are thrown away instead of the surrounding scrap. Remember to tell them NOT to weed out the centres of letters like "O" or "B"

Ed .. thanks, I like this idea the best, I will do that. But I also want to thank all who have tried to help me. This site is just a wealth of helpful people. And the best thing is all you have to do is ask.

Terry, I got some stencils from this spot. They worked very well. But what impresssed me most was the service I got from Gary (the owner). I would recommend this company to anyone. FAST service, Quility products and Great service. Oh and the prices are cheap. God Gary don't read this and raise them.
