I've got gas
I have this friend <sheepish grin > who was filling his hanger 9 260 with gasoline when he noticed fuel running out of the tail wheel area. After closer inspection it was found the stopper had ejected from the tank. The rear section was awash in gasoline. I think the wood will dry out just fine but I am concerned about the glued joints, the light ply formers delaminating and perhaps the Ultracote breaking down. I know i am...... I mean (my friend) is not the first to do this sort of thing so can anyone offer a suggestion as to what to expect?

RE: I've got gas
You, errr I mean your friend could drown the back of the plane with alcohol to try and dissolve the gas if your--I mean he is really worried about it.
Go in with thin CA and a little extension tip and try to get CA on all the jopints after you "flush" the gas out with alcohol.
Just an idea. I've never tried it, honest.
