Sheeting wings
Hello;
I have just sheeted my first foam wing with 1/16th balsa. I used standard white glue and now it is being pressed, with weight in its original cut piece.
How long should I leave it pressed until I can remove it. I want to ensure a good bond so I figured that 12 hours would be best. Any input would be appreciated.
Craig.

12 hours should be enough
Use plenty of weight. for example at least 1 pound for each square inch of area. Next time use probond polyurethane glue. It is sold in most hardware stores. It looks like pancake syrup and foams up when it cures. The white glue should be fine, though.

Putting sheeting on foam use 3M supper 77 . Will bound istantly apply to foam and to sheeting let set a couple minutes and apply sheeting to foam. Make sure you get sheeting lined up because only get one chance.

There is no plain or super 77. It is all Super 77. If you have the older stuff it is OK for styrofoam
