Default Saito Glow Plugs

I recently purchased a Saito FA65 and was wondering what plugs these motors tend to like. Do the O.S. plugs fit and if so how do they work? Or should I just stick with the Saito plug?

the direct replacment is the hangar 9 four stroke plug. The O.S> plugs work. I use the Hangar 9 plugs in in my O.S.'s and saitos

I use the plug that comes with the engine for break-in but I have found the OS F plug to work the best for me. The original plug [H-9?] has sometimes only lasted a few tanks. When discussing plugs a lot of flyers compare their favorite to the OS plugs so why not spend the extra $ and get the OS to start with. Mine normally last several seasons anyway.

I have also had good luck with OS plugs, in just about everything I have run but I have limited experience with 4 Strokes. I will pick up an OS and see how it takes and reacts compared to the OE plug. Thanks for the help. Anyone running this motor have a prop they favor?

Gee, I've been running my Saito 100 for over a year and never even thought of replacing the glow plug! It will probably burn out tomorrow

I did not think of it like that? I have been messing with nitro cars alot and they tend burn glow plugs up alot so I figured I better find out what is safe and effective to use. I love flying the plane so much I do not want any down time, for something simple.
