PA-York-Manchester Anyone?
I will be moving to Mt. Wolf Pa in a couple of weeks. This area is west of York in the east Machester township. Looking for anyone in the area that be able to help me locate local hobby shops, flying clubs, and flying fields. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am an avide flyer and want to get involved with something asap.

RE: PA-York-Manchester Anyone?
I know there are fields close by, just do a look on the AMA website
As far a good shops they are someone limited but there is the Hidden Hangar in Hummelstown (http://www.thehiddenhangar.com) but it's a 30 minute drive from where you will be, there are a couple in York but I do not have any info on them. If you do contact the Hidden Hangar, tell Luke or Lou that I sent you (Bill James) , they'll hook you up with whatever you need at a good price.
I fly in Carlisle and Hbg The Carlisle filed is about 30 miles as well as HGB from where you are going. Both have no real noise limits. THe HBG field is 600X200 feet and well groomed and the Carlisle field has 2 runways next to each other, one is grass the other paved
But as I mentions there are others close to you
Hbg field web address is:
http://www.hafsonline.org/
The Carlisle field is:
http://www.carlisleaeromodelers.com/
There is a club I here is very nice in Lancaster but I have never been there. Here is thier web site
