Default Help needed 3d prop for 46 AX

Hi

I am running a 12.25x3.25 on my 46 AX without nitro and taching 12000-12300 RPM's. Can I use a 13x4 because the manual suggests upto 12x7?

I am not getting enough power to hover. Have to hover at full throttle.

Help greatly appreciatted

Thanks

I like to use the Master Airscrew 12x4 on a 46. I don't know the RPM numbers. I started using these when I was flying a SPAD 3D. Every other flight was a crash and the APC props got to exspensive.

Hi!
Ofcourse you can !
The recomdations are just a crude way of saying: "these will be ok" nothing more.
On a .46 engine you can use many more different props, like 8x6 if you want to fly fast with a small, light airpane or up to a 13x4 if you have a big slow flying high winged trainer or slow flying scale airplane like a Fieseler Storch.
