Default Prop Size

I'm flying a Tiger Sport 40L with a OS Max 46FX running a Bolly 10.5x6 prop. I donít feel itís the right prop size, any suggestions?

Your help is much appreciated

Sounds like a reasonable prop to me though over here I'd probably use an 11 x 6 or bigger to get the noise down. What do you want it to do differently ?

Iíve just transitioned from a Seagull 40 to the Tiger Spot 40l. Iím finding my feet with this model. Only been up in the air 3 times so far.

I will give the 11x6 a go thanks for that.

The book calls for a 11X6 to a 11X7 for both sport and trainer

If you want speed go with a 10x7 or 10x8. If you want more hovering capabilities, go with a 11x5, or 11x6. The 11x5 spools up much nicer and has quicker response than the 11x6.
