Default GA airplanes

I want to build a general aviation airplane as my next model, but I have no idea what's out there and what is good. The only place I know of to buy models is Tower Hobbies and their selection is limited. I would appreciate any ideas you guys can throw out there for me, I prefer .40-.60 size and in kit form. High wing, low wing, it doesn't matter as long as it is a GA plane. I'll give you a list of a few that I am really interested in building, but I'm not sure if there are kits for them. Tried googling but all I got was full scale.

Cessna 172, 180/185, 150/152, Piper Cherokees, Mooneys, etc.

Any ideas?

Top Flite makes a great scale 182 and a Piper Arrow.
However, I am a true scale nut. The landing gear are in the wrong positions on both planes and the 182 wing struts are also improperly located!
Hanger 9 sells a nice 182 ARF. It has a better scale outline than the Top Flight.
There are several good scale kit manufacturers in Europe.
Take a look at some of these:

I bought an Airsail Chipmunk kit from SMC. The service was good, it took about 10 days to arrive.
I am VERY impressed with the quality and the scale accuracy.

Hey thanks for the site, lots of good looking aircraft there! I think I'm gonna get a Top Flite Contender to polish my building skills. Then I am gonna tackle that 182 but I'm gonna put it on floats!

I have been offering the Cessna 170 and the Mooney Mite for some time now. Both of which are reproductions of past flying models, now with only the R.C. details being considered.

That Mooney is sweet but way out of my price range at the moment, I'm taking flight lessons so a lot of my money is being used for that.
