Canopy Repair? Best idea?
Hi,
Finally received my Dave Patrick Ultimate. All is great except that the canopy is cracked on top. Seeing as though it will probably take 4-5 months to get a replacement, what do you think is the best way to make an adequate repair to keep it from cracking further?
I was going to use Zap a Dap a Goo and smear it around the cracks on the inside and a little on the outside.
Any other great ideas?
Thanks,
Mark

Canopy Repair? Best idea?
Mark:
ZDG will work very well. But. It will be quite visible. Pacer's Formula 560 canopy glue will hold as well, if not better, and if done carefully will leave only a small line.
New canopy with a crack?
. Oh, my aching back!
Bill.

One thing that you can do is "stop drill" the cracks so that they dont extend any further. Get the smallest drill bit you have and run run a hole through the canopy where the crack terminates.
