Default balloons for my battery and receiver

Has anyone used a balloon to keep there receiver and battery dry??? I am worried about the battery getting warm. I will wrap them in foam and considered putting them in balloons to keep them dry.

Thanks Andrew

The best thing I have found for my own needs is Playtex Nurser bottle liners. With foam wrapped around the receiver and batteries, it fits snuggly over the foam yet loose enough to allow vibration dampening.

You can wrap them in anything you like. They will be no more insulated that the 1/2" foam you are going to put around them anyway. I assume you are using NiCD's. Don't worry, fly happy.

I assume float plane, otherwise you can keep everything dry by landing....ON LAND!

Have Fun!!!!

It is more a fuel issue. The receiver and battery both sit under the fuel tank. I found a cut fuel line and want to prevent any future problems. I do like the bottel liners. With a newborn in the house I'm sure I can find a few of those lying around.

Thanks for the info.

Yea, It is because I'm out of Trojans that I have a newborn.[X(](this was planed) But I would not trade it for the world. Fatherhood is pretty cool.[8D]
