Default What model biplane is this????

I'm trying to sell this biplane for a friend, have no idea the model. I can tell you it weighs 25 lbs, has a 72" span and a gasser something in it, I'm assuming 50cc or less.....prop is 22". Anyone recognize the model? Its not an ARF.....looks to be about 10 years old(date prop was balanced) or so but in good shape. Any idea what it may be worth asking for this? Ready to fly...radio and all????
Thanks,

Sort of looks like an overweight Ultimate. Maybe one of the other models, not the 10-300? Don't know. It is way overweight compared to my Dave Patrick.

Since you live in Toledo. bring it to the Toledo show in April. You can auction it off at their big Saturday Night Auction

Thanks for the info.....any thoughts on a fair price? Besides the 2 dollar remark.......I'm not sure what its worth. The engine runs, starts right up, however....needs batteries. TX, RX and ignition packs are pretty much shot. Needs fuel lines changed in tank, won't empty all the way. Equipped with smoke. Air filled tires....one is flat....no pump included. Any ideas? You can PM with thoughts if you'd rather. Thanx. BTW, what does a Dave Patrick model of this same size weigh? Or do I not want to know?

That is NOT an Ultimate. The rounded forward fuselage top and canopy shape are a dead give away!
It is a modified Superhawk Mk. I, an Eddie A. Aircraft design.
Eddies original had very long gear that was canted forward and a radial engine cowl.
The top wingspan was 77 in. and the lower was 66 In. They were swept like an Ultimate.
The weight also falls in line with the Superhawk design.

It looks like the top wing is clipped and the bottom wing is extended.
The landing gear appears to be from an Extra 300.
The cowling is unique to your plane.

Having sold hundreds of R/C planes over the past decade, I estimate the value at $800.00
If I were selling it, I would ask $950.00, but may go as low as $650.00 for quick sale.
It will not fly like todays ultra light weight giant scale airplanes.
It will fly very scale like!
The radio is nearly an antique! It is a Futaba 8GSAP. I loved that radio! It just fit my hands like a glove.
I still have one that I bought in 1990. I don't use it anymore, as the 9CHP is so much more capable.

I think Eddies daughter and her husband still sell the kit. They do not have a web site.
Here is their contact info:

Eddie A Aircraft
917 Marie Ct.
Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417

Good luck!

Yep! You are correct.
It is a Super 7. Guess I didn't look close enough!
I will admit when I am wrong, there is a first time for everything
