Hi Guys, Anyone know what this is?
Hi,
I bought this plane from an auction 3 years ago, It has been in my personal collection ever since , It flys fantastic !!! , It has a OS 25 in it and it has plenty of power , I wont part with this plane, but for years I dont know what it is, Does anyone have any ideas what it might be? It looks to be a kit built plane, it is finished in Silk and Dope , someone did a great job. Let me know.. thanks much - Chuck

Possibly
I just built a Super Sportster 60 (trike gear config), and if I could figure out how to attach an image, I'd post it for side by side reference. It looks like a Sportster from the prop to the canopy, but the tailfeathers are all wrong. The real Sportster's are rounded, those are square. Wingtips appear to be wrong as well, mine are in the center of the wing width, not along the top. The taildragger gear is in the wing, not the front of the wing on the fuse.
Like I said, it sure looks like one from the prop to the canopy, and it very well could be a modified Sportster. Just my thoughts.

I thought Super Sportster at first, flew one for years, but the wing tips, the tail and the undercarriage are wrong. The general fuselage shape looks a bit too thin for a SS, as well. Can't help with anything positive, I'm afraid
