fma direct co-pilot?

fma direct co-pilot?
I was wonderig if anyone has used the fma direct co pilot, and how good it actually is. So if anyone has any experiance with this set up please let me know what you think. thanks

I used one on my first heli... hated it. The thing fought me all the time even with the gain turned down... I found I really wasn't learning a thing by using it and the fact that it tried to correct all my movements on the sticks sealed it's fate to my "I wish I hadn't bought this "box. I know of a few guy's that use them on a TX switch so when they get to far out of shape they flip the switch and it right's the heli for them... so they claim... even this is not for me.
They may be a bit better on a plane BUT I'd use the tried and true method of learning to fly with an instructor if at all possible... use the money you save on the co-pilot to buy him/her a coke at the end of each day of flying lessons

I have used a couple on planes and really liked them. Especially in the wind. I like to put it on the flap knob so I can control how much assistance I wish to use. Nice to have onboard just as a little extra insurance. Cheap investment considering what you have invested and as time goes on you will learn to depend on it less and less.
