Default Gas vs Nitro 4s & 2s engine equivelents ?

Can anyone answer for me what are some basics for determining engine equivelent ?
I have a Zednoah G23(cc?) & a Poulan 18 CC...
What would those engines equate to in terms of nitro size engines.
Why don't nitro or gas engines use a standard nomenclature, so proletariats like myself can figure this out?
What is a 1.20FS equal to in gas ?
While we're at it, wouldn't it be great if 2 strokes (nitros) werte aligned with this also ?!?
