Default Long leads

Running gas in a carden extra. Had a few glitches (into fail safe) but got model back. A mate gave me 5 boosted leads from Hitec. They seemed to of fixed the problem but about to put a bigger girl in the air but don't know much about these leads or should I go the i4c or the ems box.

Could be something else. I have several large gas planes with long servo leads and have never had any glitch problem. How close are your switches to the ignition switch or battery?

Glad you got your plane down in one piece.

My reciever battery is 8 inches from the ignition switch the reciever is double that. The first flight went great but it was on the secondflight was the trouble. It was only with the aircraft pointing straight at me

Were you pointing your Transmitter antenna straight at the plane? That's a no-no. You never want to point the antenna straight at the plane regardless of where the plane is. You can effectively lose radio contact, thereby allowing receiver to pick up stray signals causing glitches.

Ed is right, never point your antenna directly at the aircraft. That guarantees the least signal your RX can pick up.

A guy at our field had similar problems with his gas powered Giles. It turned out to be a bad servo lead running to his choke servo.
