Be sure and check out the little hobby shop in the older downtown district if it is still there. I haven't been there in some time tho. I don't know how that old fella stuffed so much stuff into that little space. My kinda store.

turbines,
Ah yes, you speak of Dr. John Fox. He's still there.
If you take a ladder and a shovel you can dig up and drag out some nice buys on some older stuff and brand new as well.
Let's put it this way. The new stuff is with-in 10 feet of the front door. The older stuff is going to be beyond that with a little bit of dust on it. (Not sure if it's an older kit)? All you got to do is blow off the dust, check out the hair-do on the babe that's on the box! Now you can clearly see that this trimly figure holding the plane with a great big smile, looks like your mom's high school pictures! Now you get it!
You guys come back and see us here in Oxford! We'll go out and fly!

Dr. John Fox / the number at his shop is 662-234-9170

Default Oxford Hobby Shop

Went to a wedding in Oxford 2 years ago. Nice town, wonderful people and what a hobby shop. Reminds me of the ones I went to as a young boy growing up in the Bronx (NY). If you are ever near there stop off and visit it-you won't be disapointed.
