4.8v vs. 6v receiver batteries

Charlie,

My panel does have the glow plug thing on it and it reads in the 12v range. All those appliances you mention run at the same voltage with different resistance (I guess impedance since it's AC?). I would image that if I connected a 12v auto bulb up to the house 120v, it would glow very brightly for about a nano-second, no?

Those simple wall chargers that you get when buying a radio (Futaba , JR,etc) is OK for charging either a 4,8v, 6 V battery pack.
My Futaba wall charger will not charge my 6v battery pack but my Accu-Cycle will.
