Default OS .46 LA carb question

I have an OS 46 LA with a remote needle set up. For install on a new plane it would be helpful if it did not have the remote needle and just had a needle at the carb it self. Does anyone know if they make a carb/needle assembly for the O.S. 46 LA and if so where to get one. If not, are there any companies that make hop-up or replacement carbs for the O.S. 46 LA that I could ckeck on. Thanks Kilmerelrc

Hi!

Just buy a new needle (whatever brand) and place it where ever you want! I mostly use MVVS needles as they are good and not too expensive.

Regards!

If you want a front needle carb you need to get a replacement carb used for the os40fp. I believe they are still sold new as well as used ones. It's a 3A on the OS website.

Thank you for all the input. I actually found a replacement carb from the cumpany that makes Perry Pumps. It will fit in the mounting hole on the engine and actually has a slightly larger inner bore than the original carb from OS. I ordered one and will see how it works.
