Can't find a spinner to fit...
I'm looking for a 2-1/4" spinner for my Fliton Extra. I'm going to mount it on a Saito .82 or .91 and will be running APC wide-blade props (14x4w - 15x4w). I checked TruTurn, but the only spinner in that size that will fit those props with that engine is the Ultimate style, which I don't want. The same seems to go for Dave Brown. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'd prefer aluminum, but I am thinking I may have to get a DuBro with an aluminum backplate and cut the slots in the spinner myself. I'm not looking forward to that.
I called TruTurn and they said the 2-1/4" won't fit because the propshaft on the Saitos (or any other engine with that displacement, according to them) is too long. That's why the long Ultimate style needs to be used.

I didn't think about the shaft length. The tru-turn spinners I have (or had) were 2.5 and 3 inch, standard shape, and are/were on .91 four strokes. Those sizes must have just enough extra cone length to clear.

Yeah I tihnk she said a 2.5" would work, but that's just too big. :/

Try Maxx Products. I've got an Aluminum spinner on my .72. I think they have them in 1/4" increments (at least I know they have a 2.25") You will have to order the adapter nut separately and you may have to enlarge the cut-outs for the wider blades, but for the price they are decent spinners and are pre-polished.

Well, I just saw an Ultimate style on the plane I have and it looks good so I will just get the TruTurn.
Thanks!
